Wildcrafting Herbs

   Wildcrafting herbs is the locating and harvesting of wild herbal plants found out in the land, bog, forest, and fields. During this part of the course we will take long walks in the surrounding hills showing you how to use the plants found in Nature. We will enjoy a wild edible lunch made from some of the plants that we harvested while enjoying fresh made spruce tea!

Herbal First Aid/ Herbal Medicine Making

   Why buy herbal products when it’s so simple and empowering to make your own? This hands-on class includes instruction on harvesting, drying, preserving and preparing medicinal plants. Learn how to make medicinal teas, infused oils, salves, tinctures, and more. We’All also discuss the principles of ethical harvesting. Take home a sample of medicine made in class.

Plant Spirit Medicine

   We will explore traditional knowledge to learn how to communicate with plants. We will discuss how the ancient people used plants for their ceremonies and for healing.

The course is mainly conducted outdoors near Cahersiveen in County Kerry.
For the part of this class you will be outside and active.

Cost: €150 Food is not provided.
Tent sites are available Snacks and tea will always be available

IPNA WORK STUDY EXCHANGE Students can earn €75 off their tuition by arriving a day before the class starts to help out on the land. The work day will be 5-6 hours of work. We have paths to make, spruce limbs to haul away and general setup requirements. Anna needs help around the poly tunnel site and her gardens. Feel free to contact us for additional information.
