Australasian Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
Agency that certifies our Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician courses. AREMT also offers a part time distance Paramedic programme.

Remote Medic Practitioner programme
AREMT also offers this programme. The first half is offered via distance education over a six month period. The second part of this course is one month spent in a third world clinic practicing remote medicine. One of our instructors is currently enrolled in this programme.

Remote Emergency Care courses
IPNA has shadowed some instructors from this organisation. They are professional, knowledgeable and very passionate about Wilderness Medicine. If you have a chance to attend one of their programmes it would be worth your while.

Wilderness Emergency Medical Services Institute
This organisation offers the Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician course here in Ireland as well as the UK. They also offer the Wilderness First Responder. They follow the same protocols from the Wilderness Medical Society as we do here at IPNA. Their courses are top notch and well worth attending.
