REMOTE medicine & OUTDOOR first aid

The OFA covers a wide range of wilderness medicine topics for people who travel and work in the outdoors.

It starts with the basic ABCs and builds up to the assessment and treatment of injuries in less than optimum situations.

This course is designed to transform anyone with little or no medical training into a health care provider for austere and wilderness situations.

The WFR is the industry standard for outdoor group leaders, guides and for anyone spending extended time in Nature.

This course offers hands on scenario based learning focusing on major wounds and injuries one would sustain in the wilderness.

This hands on experiential course provides medical education that will cover most of the ailments and injuries a family or group might see.

Additional skills will include: long term wound management, suturing, long term, low-tech medicine, and wilderness trauma treatment protocols.

3 days worth of pre-study is required.
