Permaculture is, in its essence, a design system. The components of this system are taken from nature and mimic her efficiency of resource use.
This class aims to give an overview of the Permaculture Design principles within the context of finding real-life solutions for a lifestyle that aims to be sustainable. The emphasis will be on low-tech, low-input applications which enhance the connection of the individual to the community and the natural world.
The course is conducted near Cahersiveen in County Kerry. For part of this class you will be outside and active.
Cost: €150
The Course starts at 6pm on Friday evening and goes until 5pm on Sunday.
Food is not provided.
Tent sites are available
Snacks and tea will always be available
IPNA WORK STUDY EXCHANGE
Students can earn €75 off their tuition by arriving a day before the class starts to help out on the land. The work day will be 5-6 hours of work. We have paths to make, spruce limbs to haul away and general setup requirements. Anna needs help around the poly tunnel site and her gardens. Feel free to contact us for additional information.
