what's new at ipna?

January 2010

Anna would like some help with her poly tunnel site. We also need some trail work and stone work done. That is why we are offering a work study programme for each course.

IPNA WORK STUDY EXCHANGE
Students can earn €75 off their tuition by arriving a day before the class starts to help out on the land. The work day will be 5-6 hours of work. We have paths to make, spruce limbs to haul away and general setup requirements. Anna needs help around the poly tunnel site and her gardens.
This offer is good for Basic Bushcraft, Basic Ranger Scout, Wilderness First Responder and the Outdoor First Aid. Feel free to contact us for additional information.

PERMACULTURE CLASSES STARTING IN MAY
Anna will offer two weekend courses each month during the summer. They are the "How to Grow your Food" and the "Practical Permaculture" courses. More information will be put on the web later this week.

PRIMITIVE TOOLS & WEAPONS WEEKEND
We have designed a new course for IPNA students. This weekend class will teach students how to make various primitive weapons and tools that the ancient Celts, Tuatha Dé Danann and the Fir Bolg would have used.
More information can be found here.

ROBIN HOOD WEEKEND
Come spend a weekend in the woods while learning some of the skills needed for a 12th century woodland archer. The weekend will commence with the Robin Hood Weekend Tournament. Come test your archery skills against other contestants.  More information here.
